Joann Fabrics – Stop Motion Halloween Skull Masks

Joann came to us in 2015 to start producing inspirational stop motion videos for use on their website and social media.  Prior to that, we had be doing a lot of more traditional, longer form “How To” and “Demonstration” type videos for Joann, but they wanted something different.  Since then, we have created more than 30 of these stop motion animation style videos.  These include a wide variety of crafts and projects from fairy gardens to halloween decorations, and much more.

These were all shot in our studio on Canon 5D’s, and consist of a series still images edited into an image sequence to created the stop motion look.  As an example, the stop motion portion of this Photo Wreath video, which is about 28 seconds long, is actual made up of approximately 280 still photos.

See the “Related Videos” below for additional stop motion videos we’ve produced.
