Marketing and Outreach Coordinator Position

Overview

Mosher Media is seeking an outreach coordinator with highly developed skills in communication, organization, and service to be applied in three areas: Inside sales, client services, and web content.

Summary

As outreach coordinator, your top priority will be recognizing viable inbound leads when answering the phone and emails. Around these communications, you’ll plan and produce informative and lightly promotional articles for the company’s brand websites to draw traffic from visitors searching the web for information about video production.   Reports to: CEO Works with:
          • Web designer/developer
          • Other creative and production staff
          • Clients
          • Vendors

Responsibilities

Inside sales: Field incoming calls, recognize opportunities, and quickly respond with estimates and project plans. Client services: Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets, manage client relationships, and anticipate needs. Web content:
                  1. Plan and produce blog posts to entertain, educate, and inform web audiences seeking information about the company’s services and video production in general.
                  2. Organize behind-the-scenes narratives about the company’s production teams as they work on projects.
                  3. Cultivate ideas and input from staff and leadership for new content, using experience and creative skills to adapt and refine even challenging, unusual concepts into polished content.
                  4. Conduct interviews with staff and production crew to add color, detail, and intrigue to these written pieces.
                  5. Organize and edit stories in a format that is appealing, digestible, and easy to find for new website visitors.

                  • Excellent spoken and written communication, including phone calls for sales and client service and professional instincts when handling email.
                  • Time management
                  • Project planning
                  • G Suite (formerly Google Apps), specifically Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar
                  • WordPress
                  • Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite

Additional Requirements

              • Samples of your writing, preferably for the Web.
              • Ideal experience
              • Service-oriented position in a creative field
              • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
              • Social media management for a business
