[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We recently wrapped up a multi-day, fast-paced shoot showing viewers how to inspect and repair the exhaust and suspension on semi-trucks. We had 2 of our Arri light kits with us that we used for the majority of the lighting. However lots of the shots were in tight quarters; underneath the cab, under the hood, and inside the cab where placing an Arri light would have either been impossible or too time-consuming.
Our collection of LEDs allowed us to get these challenging shots while still keeping the shoot on schedule.

We needed a close up of the brackets on the smokestack lining up with those on the back of the cab. With our cameraman and talent in place, they were completely blocking the light. We weren’t able to get an Arri light close enough to the action or high enough above it without interfering with the talent or our cameraman.
A dimmable on-camera LED light worked perfectly, though. You can see in the shot below that without the LED light, the shot would have been almost unusable. With the LED, it’s a well-lit shot that demonstrates what the technician is doing perfectly.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”6291″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”6292″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
