Gear Time: NAB Showfloor

       Gear Time made it to Vegas!  We’re having a good time here at NAB 2018, and even though we haven’t seen all of the trade show floor yet, we wanted to give some quick impressions on what we’ve seen so far.

       We’ve seen a lot of cool stuff. Some really cool cameras, cool lenses, a lot of lights… Robotic camera rigs, even!  If you’ve never been to NAB before, one of the first things you’d notice being here is the level of presentation and work that companies put into these booths, and to have them set up for all five days of NAB.

       We’re already talking about what our top picks will be. We have some ideas with things we’ve seen that we like, and others not so much, but we will definitely be back next time to weigh in on what we think is the coolest stuff on display.

       When you’re in charge of running the budget for video production gear and you come to NAB to make a shopping list, it’s hard not wanting to buy everything!  That’s why we’re out here doing our research, finding all the latest and greatest gear.
